Who stole the cookie?

This is was a live feed to our booth at Pitti Uomo:

Pitti is an amazingly massive European trade fair that takes place every 6 months in Florence to kick off the menswear season. It's the place where dapper dudes from all around the world spend weeks planning their outfits like she might so they can end up having their picture here, here, and places like them.

If you look closely, you’ll notice an innocent (vintage, early 1980s, pristine condition, ceramic) cookie jar in the back corner. Inside of said cookie jar sits a lone, perfectly delicious, ultimately tempting freshly baked chocolate chip cookie. Here’s another angle Roy from the New York office stealing a cookie:

In an effort to both keep ourselves (and you, dear reader) mildly entertained - and more importantly to determine who the REAL COOKIE LOVERS are out there - Nicole and I decided to stage a little experiment to see who has the balls to steal the last cookie from the cookie jar.

Trusty Pat from the New York office will be monitoring the situation and surreptitiously replenishing the (one) cookie (to rule them all) throughout the week while simultaneously ignoring all inquiries that might come up about it in order to create as much confusion as possible.

Stay tuned through this Thursday (the 16th) for a little voyeuristic fun and games.

Let them eat cookies.

We headed up to Huntington Library in Pasadena last week with our bud Kirsten Dunst to shoot the new Boy. campaign. It was a totally perfect day - the grounds couldn't be more beautiful, the weather was sick, our RV had a bathroom in it, and Nicole scored catering from Joan's on Third.

Like I said, everything was going splendidly, that is until Kirsten's Mom and Gram came by to hang and I brought out a cookie plate:

Huh, good start. Let's keep going.

Well, folks, there you have it. Wait, Mom’s coming in for the plate.

Geez. Tough crowd. One more try.

And, I give up.

Silent Cookie

I totally let the holidays go by without checking in, so before the next important holiday rolls around I want to give a quick shout out to:

1) Cousin Cheryl from East Canton, who sent her annual Christmas tin of heaven.

I had grand plans to conduct a taste test in the studio to determine if the different colors actually taste different. I can never tell.

Anyway, it never happened 'cause I ate them all first.

2) Bettina, who made the drive to the desert.

We picked up this Starbucks sugar cookie on the way and had more fun playing with it than eating it:

3) The Parker, my favorite place to stay in Palm Springs and possibly anywhere. This is what you do when you're there:

4) Room Service Choco Chips (with garnish). YUM.

5) Pies. There was a big push for pies at the Parker - mini pies, pie shakes, pie pies, all types of pies. I decided that the mini pies were essentially cookies with icing and gooey insides and dived in.

No regrets.

New York Cookie

So, this is our new sales showroom in New York:

No, really. I swear.
